La Clásica celebrated the second edition of the festival at the Monastery of Oia and the Church of Santa María. SINSAL SON ESTRELLA GALICIA thus brought its 2023 edition to a close with the presentation of the “Océano X Fest Galicia” stage, which included a concert by As Dornas in Oia.
Throughout the day, instrumental music took centre stage, paying tribute to works by women composers of the Renaissance and Baroque periods from the 17th and 18th centuries. The event featured the participation of outstanding artists such as Pilar Moráguez, Marta López, Elena Vázquez and María José Pámpano.
In addition to the music programme, the festival offered attendees the opportunity to take part in various activities related to the exploration and interpretation of historical, cultural and natural heritage. These included a guided tour of the Monastery led by the Bretal Foundation, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the rich history of the site. There was also a unique experience enabling participants to explore the underwater world of the Ría de Vigo through virtual reality headsets.
With this day dedicated to celebrating female talent and cultural, historical and natural heritage, Sinsal SON Estrella Galicia concluded its 2023 edition. This closing event marked the beginning of preparations for the 2024 Sinsal Festival, which promises to continue building bridges between music and cultural diversity.
