The Royal Monastery of Oia presents its 2020 programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After what has felt like a very long wait, we are finally able to reopen the doors of Oia Monastery in 2020. Following months of work, we return with an exciting cultural programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s guided tours will also include the exhibition \u201cThe Prisoners of the Monastery. Memory of the Spanish Civil War\u201d<\/em>, featuring testimonies left by Republican prisoners on the walls of the Monastery between 1937 and 1939.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are bringing a full agenda of events, including A Emoci\u00f3n dos Vi\u00f1os<\/em>, the pirate commemoration, and the celebration of Galician Literature Day. The Conversas<\/em> series also returns, shedding light on this Site of Cultural Interest, and of course the Solpores<\/em>\u2014unique concerts accompanied by a glass of wine as the sun sets, with the ocean and the Monastery as witnesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
